How to Renew Licenses Purchased from the eEye Online Store
The procedure outlined below will explain how customers who purchased their product through the eEye online web store can quickly renew their license in just a few minutes.
Steps to Renew Your License:
- You should receive renewal reminder e-mails at the following intervals prior to the license expiration date: 90 days from expiration, 30 days from expiration, 7 days from expiration, and on the date of expiration.
- Click on the renewal link in the renewal reminder e-mail and it will take you to the appropriate product page in the online store. Alternatively, you can also find the appropriate product page by visiting the eEye online store directly.
- Add the product you wish to renew to your shopping cart by selecting the quantity of the product and then clicking the "Buy Now" button on the product page:
- Review your order on the checkout page to ensure that it's accurate, then click on the "Check Out" button to continue:
- Since you have purchased from the eEye online store before, you will only need to complete the top section of the Checkout page. Logging in with the e-mail address and password you used last time to purchase the product will fill out the appropriate information, such as your name and address, in the lower half of the Checkout page. Please note that your credit card information may have to be entered again manually. If you forgot the password you created the last time you purchased with us, there is an option to reset it on this page:
- Verify and complete the order. At this point, you'll receive an e-mail with a new serial number in it that you will apply to the product that is being renewed.
- To apply the new serial number, open your eEye product and go to Help --> License Management --> Update License using the menu options found at the top of the product screen. Enter the new serial number that you received in your purchase e-mail and then restart the product in order to begin using the new serial number:
